Traditional Language Support

Gordon Francis and Ron Tremblay are knowledgeable Language Keepers from Mi'kmaq and Wolastoqey Nations. They have a deep knowledge and understanding of the Mi'kmaw and Wolastoqey languages. This site enables educators, students and communities to connect virtually with language keepers Gordon Francis and Ron Tremblay to lead or support classroom practice. A list of topics is provided under the Language Keeper’s profile. If there is a topic you would like to explore that isn’t on the list, please email the Language Keeper as they may be able to accommodate your request. Time with the Language Keeper must be scheduled by the educator through this site.
